These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Junbi ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What Junbi is
Junbi is a personal meal planning tool that helps you discover recipes, manage your pantry, and plan your meals for the week. It uses AI to assist with suggestions, recipe extraction, and image analysis. Junbi is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Your account
To use Junbi you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account secure and not sharing it with others.
- Any activity that occurs under your account.
- Providing accurate information in your profile.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Junbi only for its intended purpose. You must not:
- Use the app to upload or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the app or its API.
- Use automated tools to make excessive requests to our servers.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
4. AI-generated content
Junbi uses AI to suggest meals, generate recipes, and analyse photos. AI-generated content is provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that meal suggestions, recipes, or nutritional information are accurate, complete, or suitable for your dietary needs. Always use your own judgement — especially regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you add to Junbi — your recipes, pantry lists, and meal plans are yours. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Junbi running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Junbi and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to food safety issues, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated suggestions.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Third-party services
Junbi uses Google for authentication. Your use of Google's sign-in is governed by Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make significant changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know.
10. Termination
You may stop using Junbi at any time. You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing info@getjunbi.com. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
